La Irenita and Ellerstina qualified to the championship match of the Argentine Juvenile Open, following the semifinals that took place on Thursday September 26 at the Argentine Association of Polo Headquarters, in Pilar.

The MacDonough family’s team claimed a narrow 12-11 win against La Natividad, in a thrilling match that was decided by a goal produced by Felipe Dabas with only ten seconds left in regulation time. Up next, Ellerstina bounced back to dominate the match and beat Indios Chapaleufu 11-8.

The final of the Argentine Juvenile Open is due on Monday September 30, in Palermo, at 2pm.
