La Indiana claimed a successful debut in their first match in the CV Whitney Cup, that was played on Friday February 11, at the International Polo Club Palm Beach. The opening tournament of the Gauntlet of Polo sees nine teams up to 22 goals, battling for the title.
The final is due on Sunday February 27.
Despite La Indiana had a one goal lead by half time, they managed to win the match by three goals. Mariano Aguerre, at 52, is still in his top form, playing alongside Luquitas Criado, the son of Lucas Criado, who’s been Mariano’s team mate on several occasions, including the Argentine Open.
