Prior to the much anticipated championship match of the 131st. Argentine Polo Open Championship, on Sunday December 8, La Hache Cría & Polo, placed 8th. within the 2024 Ranking, clashed against La Dolfina Valiente, the recent winners of the Cámara de Diputados, in a playoff, that would award the winner a spot in the 2025 Triple Crown.

 

La Hache Cría & Polo got off to a stronger start, taking an early three goal advantage in the first chukka, which they widened to five in the second. However La Dolfina Valiente managed to balance the scores, but La Hache Cría & Polo bounced back and were five goals ahead by the end of the fifth chukka.

 

The Cañuelas-based foursome were far from giving up, and they tied the contest within the last seconds in regulation time. This led to an extra chukka, when Toly Ulloa ran to the goalposts to have the deal said and done. La Hache Cría & Polo won by a narrow 16-15, and qualified for the 2025 Triple Crown.
