Led by a superb performance delivered by Joaquín Pittaluga, who produced ten goals, La Hache Cría & Polo earned a 18-4 victory over Cría La Dolfina, and claimed the Subsidiary Trophy of the 130th. Hurlingham Open, the Drysdale Cup, in the final tok place on Thursday October 5 at the Argentine Association of Polo in Pilar. Lukin Monteverde took part of the winning lineup once again, subbing in for the injured Tito Ruiz Guiñazu. In their first ever Triple Crown, the Ulloa family’s organisation is already the season sensation. La Hache Cría & Polo earned a spot in the Drysdale Cup after defeating La Ensenada, in semifinals.
La Hache Cría & Polo had to struggle in the first half, but they managed to bounce back in the fourth chukka – Lukin Monteverde scored within the last seconds in the chukka, to secure La Hache Cría & Polo their first lead, 10-9. In the sixth chukka, they outscored Cría La Dolfina 5-1, and the deal was said and done. As a result, this victory might be a big motivation for La Hache next Saturday, in the final of the 130th. Hurlingham Open, against La Dolfina.
