The La Cañada Open, one of the most significant and remarkable tournaments of the highly competitive Autumn season in Argentina  was due to commence on Monday April 22. The contest, that was set to be played at La Cañada Polo Club, in Open Door, province of Buenos Aires, had already eight teams up to 28 goals, in participation. But at the end of the day, the competition had to be cancelled due to poor weather conditions. Therefore, the organisers unveiled the news through their social media:

“Due to the bad weather that didn´t help at all this season, we are forced to cancel the 36th. edition of out tournament. In such a high level competition, and based on safety reason, we are unable to put any player at all at such risk. We are very grateful to all the teams and players who aimed to play and who are with us year after year, in a tournament made to have fun, play good polo and try horses for the Spring season. Thank you very much!!”.
