The Argentina Polo Tour, that celebrated its 20th. anniversary this year, came to an end on Saturday April 12, at Ellerstina Polo Club. It’s worth to note that the previous stage of the series took place at La Dolfina, Centauros and Los Machitos. The most significant issue with regards to the tournament played at the club founded by Gonzalo Pieres more than 30 years ago, is that saw no less than twelve teams up to 20 goals, partake, the highest rated within the Argentina Polo Tour.
Many spectators watched the clash between La Zeta Kazak and Ojo Caliente – the former featured Pelon Stirling and Nicolás Pieres, while the latter previously won at Centauros and were a runner up at Los Machitos.
Sébastien Aguettant’s lineup had a stronger start, seizing the reins from the start and widened their advantage chukka after chukka, while And Escobedo’s Ojo Caliente struggled to get closer in the scoreboard. With only one chukka left, La Zeta Kazak had an impressive five goals lead, but Ojo Caliente never gave up – they bounced back in the last chukka, but the damage has already been done, and at the end of the day, La Zeta Kazak were victorious 13-12.
