On Monday December 26, Jumeirah and Liwa were victorious over Al Marmoom and Sir Baniyas, respectively, in the second day of competition of the New Year Polo Championship, that’s underway at Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club, located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The tournament sees four teams between 0 and 4 goals, in participation.
In the first match, Jumeirah (who receivec 1.5 goles on handicap), narrowly beat Al Marmoom by a 6.5-6 score, while Liwa Polo claimed a 7-4 win over Sir Baniyas.
The finalists of the New Year Polo Championship will be unveiled on Wednesday December 28, after the last league stage, which will have the following order of play:
3pm: Sir Baniyas vs. Al Marmoom
4.15: Jumeirah vs. Liwa
The finals of the New Year Polo Championship will take place on Friday, December 30.
