The league stage of the IFZA Gold Cup came to an end on Wednesday February 22, following the two games played on ground 3 and 1, at Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. League A standings have been set, following wins by Ghantoot and UAE Polo, with the latter as the league winner. and qualified to semifinals directly. Ghantoot and Dubai Wolves secured a spot in the quarter finals, after ending the league stage in second and third place, respectively. Meanwhile, Clinova NOA Capital advanced to the semifinals of the Subsidiary Trophy.
With regards to League B, the standings were determined through a penalty shootout that took place on Thursday February 23. IFZA Habtoor ended up in first place and qualified to semifinals: AM Polo and Bangash will play the quarter finals; and Mahra by AIX are due to compete in the semifinals of the Subsidiary Trophy.
The current edition of the IFZA Gold Cup sees eight teams up to 20 goals, partake, split in two leagues.
The finals of the IFZA Gold Cup are due on Saturday March 4.
