The semifinals of the 130th. Hurlingham Open, the first leg of the coveted Argentine Triple Crown will be played in the weekend, through Saturday September 30 and Sunday October 1. The semifinals will take place at Palermo, both for the main trophy, the Ayshire Cup and the Subsidiary Drysdale Cup. The oldest tournament in the world sees eight teams up to 40 goals in participation.
On Saturday September 30, current reigning champions, La Dolfina, will go head-to-head against Ellerstina, in the first semifinal of the Hurlingham Open. The latter will have Rodrigo Ribeiro de Andrade once again, filling for the injured Bautista Bayugar. Previously, La Irenita Clinova and Cría La Dolfina will play the semifinal of the Subsidiary Drysdale Cup.
Meanwhile, on Sunday October 1, La Natividad and La Hache will clash for the second semifinal of the Ayshire Cup. Once again, Rufino Bensadon will sub in for Polito Pieres; La Hache Cría & Polo will meet La Ensenada in the second semifinal of the Drysdale Cup, a match that will feature significant news. The young Lukin Monteverde will replace the injured Tito Ruiz Guiñazu, and will make his debut in the Triple Crown.
