Bin Drai claimed an impressive 11-6 win over UAE Polo to claim the HH President of UAE Polo Cup on Sunday, March 27, at Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Both teams made it to the championship match unbeaten. In the final, however, Bin Drai dominated from the start, outscoring UAE Polo 4-0 in the first chukka. UAE Polo fought hard to make a comeback, but Bin Drai played their best polo, led by MVP and top scorer Tomás Panelo. Bin Drai’s dominance was so overwhelming that they managed to secure an 11-4 advantage with only one chukka left to play. UAE Polo scored a couple of goals in the last, but the damage had been done, and Bin Drai claimed the coveted title.

Prior to the main final, Abu Dhabi narrowly defeated Ghantoot by 9 goals to 8 to win the Subsidiary trophy.

The HH President of UAE Polo Cup saw six teams, up to 18 goals, compete.
