The last stage of the 129th. Open de Paris, the third leg and the culminating moment of the Parisian Triple Crown, is due on Saturday June 24, with the two last league matches that will reveal the competition’s finalists. The prestigious tournament is underway at the exquisite and sophisticated Polo de Paris, known also as Bagatelle, located only ten minutes from the City of Lights in the Bois de Boulogne, on the banks of River Seine. The competition sees five teams up to 12 goals, partake.
It is worth noting that Polo de Paris has a rich history of polo: the club hosted the 1924 Olympic Games – which now are due to return to the City of Lights in 2024, exactly one hundred years later – and polo was among the sports involved. Back in 1924, it was polo the sport that gave Argentina the first ever gold Olympic medal in the country’s history.
In the opening game, current reigning champions and still undefeated, Kazak, will clash against Red Falcon. Up next, Sainte Mesme, the runner up in 2022, will go head-to-head against Los Dragones.
The final of the Open de Paris will be played on Sunday June 25.
