FG Polo claimed a 10-6 win over Olympia/AZB Polo, and won the 4th. President Of Pakistan Polo Cup, following the finals that took place at Lahore Polo Club, in the namesake city, in Pakistan, on Friday February 28. It’s worth to notice that both teams reached the decisive game with a 3-1 record.
Raúl Laplacette took command of FG Polo; under his leadership, he produced no less than eight goals that helped Abbas Mukhtar team to seize the reins from the second chukka onwards, and maintain the advantage thoroghout the five chukkas of play. By the end of the fourth chukka, they had a remarkable 9-3 lead, and sealed the deal in the last to earn the 10-6 victory and the title.
Meanwhile, and in the clash of the Naseem family, BN/New Age beat DS Polo 8-4 and won the Subsidiary Trophy.
