Ellerstina and San Diego played the championship match of one of the most prestigious ladies polo tournaments in Argentina, the Myriam Heguy Cup. The final, that featured the clash of Hazel Jackson (Ellerstina) and Lia Salvo (San Diego) was played at the Argentine Association of Polo Headquarters, in Pilar, on Sunday October 6,and saw the former victorious.

After a 2-all in the first chukka, Ellerstina seized the reins to dominate the contest and the scoreboard; with only one chukka remaining Ellerstina had an impressive 10-4 lead. However, San Diego bounced back but the damage has been done, and the title went to La Z.
