Following a very narrow contest, that was decided in the last chukkas of play, Bhansali beat Ankora/Lamar 5-4.5, and ran out the champions of the Dubai Polo Challenge Cup for the second year in a row, in the final that took place on Saturday March 8, at Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates,

In a match that was played under very hot weather conditions, Ankora/Lamar had a better start, and managed to dominate the action. However, it was a close contest, that saw many fouls and a handful of goals. Ankora/Lamar was leading by half a goal at the start of the last chukka, but Bhansali, in a spectacular comeback, produced two consecutive goals to seal the deal – they won 5-4.5 and retained the title they obtained last year.

Previously, Habtoor claimed the Subsidiary, after being victorious in a round robin against El Basha and Bangash
