Finally, there was nor hat trick neither rematch for Augustinus Bader. Doma Angels, with sisters Elena and Pearl Venot, Caroline Muir and Alicia Prat, earned a 10-6 win, and the French team claimed the tenth edition of the Ladies Cup, the ladies competition within the Barriere Deauville Polo Cup, after the final that took place on Saturday August 10, at the Deauville International Polo Club, set in Normandy, France.

After a 2-all in the first chukka, Doma Angels seized the reins, led by an extraordinary performance delivered by Pearl Venot, who produced seven goals. The French girls managed to hold the defending champions back, widening their advantage chukka after chukka. At the end of the day, Doma Angels’ remarkable team effort paid off, and they took the title home. It is worth to notice that the champions already beat the Luxembourg-based team in the qualification stage, on August 8.
