The semifinals of the CV Whitney Cup, opening competition of the 22-goal Gauntlet of Polo, took place on Wednesday at International Polo Club Palm Beach, in Wellington.
Last year’s runners-up Las Monjitas qualified for the final after beating Patagones 10 goals to 9, before La Indiana defeated Pilot 12-10 to earn a place in the championship match. Pilot’s loss marked their first ever defeat in the series, as they won competition in 2019 without losing a single game.
The finals of the CV Whitney Cup are scheduled for Sunday, February 23.
