Luquitas Criado scored the winning goal in OT to secure La Indiana’s second win in the CV Whitney Cup, the opening tournament of The Gauntlet of Polo. La Indiana took a 11-10 victory over SD Farms.
The tournament is hosted by the United States Polo Association and the International Polo Club Palm Beach. Nine teams, up to 22 goals, are in competition.
The quarterfinal matchups will be set on Thursday, after the match between Coca-Cola and Cessna.
The final is due on Sunday, February 27.
