Talandracas, who is already in the championship match of the prestigious Coupe d’Or, continued on the winning path and finished the league stage undefeated, after claiming a 9-8 win over current title holders Barriére-Télédou on Wednesday August 21, at the Deauville International Polo Club, set in Deauville, Normandy. Previously, Mungo defeated Marqués de Riscal 9-5, in the contest that was due on Tuesday August 20 and was rescheduled for Wednesday due to heavy rainfalls.
The last league games of the Coupe d’Or will be played through August 22-23, to determine Talandracas’ contenders in the final, on Sunday August 25.
COUPE DE BRONZE
The 8-goal Coupe de Bronze resumed on Wednesday August 21. Red Falcon beat La Grange Martin Octogone 6-3.5, and still maintain the hopes to reach the final.
The finals of the Coupe d’Or and the Coupe de Bronze will take place on Sunday August 25.
