It’s the final countdown for the 2024 Barriere Deauville Polo Cup 2024. Talandracas and Télédou Barriere are through the championship match of the prestigious Coupe d’Or, the highlight of the season at the Deauville International Polo Cup, in Normandy, France. Sunday August 25 will see not only an all-French contest, but it will be also a rematch – Talandracas has remained unbeaten, being their last of the league stage against Télédou Barriere, while their contenders – and current title holders – secured a spot in the decisive game through a penalty shootout.

Talandracas, the Carmignac family’s foursome, with Edouard and his son, Hughes, will aim for a historic record; they claimed the coveted golden trophy no less than six times. A seventh title would be a remarkable achievement which will probably never be repeated again. Meanwhile, Isabelle Larenaudie’s Télédou-Barriere, had a very interesting 2024. They previously won the Nation’s Cup, in Chantilly, last June, and now they will have the opportunity to defend their title.

With regards to the last results of the Coupe d’Or, Eternal J beat Marqués de Riscal 9-7 on Thursday August 22,  and Mungo defeated Télédou Barriere by the same score on Friday August 23.

Talandracas and Télédou-Barriere will go head-to-head for the most important trophy of the season in Deauville on Sunday August 25 at 5,30pm, AND WILL BE STREAMED LIVE ON POLOLINE.TV.
