The Cámara de Diputados Cup, one of the most important polo competitions in the world, played alongside the Argentine Open, has entered the semifinals stage. Trenque Lauquen, Indios Chapaleufu II, Sol de Agosto and La Dolfina Brava have all qualified for the next stage of the tournament.

 

The competition sees sixteen teams, between 24 and 28 goals, compete. The main draw includes twelve teams from the Pilar Cup and its respective playoffs, as well as four teams that entered from Palermo’s Qualification tournament.

 

The final of the Cámara de Diputados Cup is due on Thursday, December 17. 

 

These are the results of the quarterfinals, played on Tuesday, December 8:  

 

League 1: Trenque Lauquen 13 vs. La Esquina 11

League 2: Indios Chapaleufú II 10 vs. Martindale 8

League 3: Sol de Agosto 17 vs. Alegría 12

League 4: La Dolfina Brava 13 vs. La Cañada 6

 

The winners of each league, who are all undefeated, have qualified for the semifinals and will play their next matches on Friday, December 11:

 

10am: Trenque Lauquen vs. La Dolfina Brava.

5pm: Sol de Agosto vs. Indios Chapaleufú II.
