Los Pinos ground three, at Ayala Polo Club, in Sotogrande, greeted the final of the High Goal Bronze Cup, on Sunday July 28, that saw the clash between Calatagan and ATL Marine and Energy. It’s worth to notice that a Calatagan lineup were the runner up of the low goal Bronze Cup.

 

The Philippine-based lineup got off to a stronger start, by outscoring their contenders 4-1 in the first chukka. Led by Antonio Heguy, the recent winner of the British Open, with Dubai, Calatagan managed to extend their gap in the two following chukkas. However, ATL never gave up and presented battle, but the efforts didn’t pay off and at the end of the day Calatagan were victorious 10-7.

 

The 53rd. International Polo Tournament Andalucía will continue in the next week, with the second tournament, the Silver Cup.
