Action for the British Open Polo Championship for the Cowdray Gold Cup resumed through Friday July 5 and Sunday July 7, prior to the last qualification games due next week. The historic competition, hosted by Cowdray Park Polo Club and established in 1956, sees eighteen teams up to 22 goals partake.

 

At the moment, La Dolfina Great Oaks, Dubai and Talandracas are qualified to quarterfinals. Talandracas earned their ticket to the competition’s next stage after a tough match against Valhalla on Sunday July 7. The recent winners of the Queen’s Cup needed an extra chukka to claim a hard fought 12-11 win.
