The British Open Polo Championship for the Cowdray Gold Cup stepped into its last week of league games, prior to the quarter finals, due next weekend. Dubai, La Dolfina Great Oaks and Talandracas are already qualified to the next stage, while Desert Palm, Marqués de Riscal and Gastón will go to a penalty shootout to earn a spot in quarter finals

 

Dubai (who ended the league phase undefeated), Desert Palm and Marqués de Riscal, were victorious over Gastón, Ferne Park and Black Bears, respectively, following the three games played on Monday July 8.

The British Open Polo Championship for the Cowdray Gold Cup will resume on Tuesday July 9, with the following order of play:

1pm: Sujan Indian Tigers vs. La Magdeleine

3pm: King Power vs. Bangash

 

The final of the British Open Polo Championship for the Cowdray Gold Cup is due on Sunday July 21.
