The Gold Cup continued on Wednesday, June 30, as Great Oaks Les Lions made an impressive comeback in the second half of their match against Monterosso to take a 10-9 victory.
The tournament, hosted by Cowdray Park Polo Club, sees thirteen teams, up to 22 goals, compete. The Gold Cup is one of the Grand Slams of Polo, alongside the Argentine Open and the US Open.
The Gold Cup resumes on Thursday, July 1, with the following order of play:
12pm: Park Place vs. Murus Sanctus (Brooks)
3pm: Scone vs. Thai Polo (Ambersham 3)
The final of the Gold Cup is scheduled for Sunday, July 25.
