The FIP European Polo Championship resumed on Saturday at Villa A Sesta Polo Club, in Tuscany, Italy. The tournament sees ten 8-goal teams in competition.

The women’s competition, where four teams will compete, is set to kick off on September 25th.

Even though there was no polo on Sunday, players paraded through the city of Arezzo, located forty minutes from the club. A fabulous cocktail followed. 

Four matches were played on Saturday:

Ireland 7.5-7 Netherlands

Score Ireland: 1.5-1, 6.5-2, 7.5-3, 7.5-7.

Azerbaijan 8-4 France

Italy 10-3.5 Austria

Score Italy: 4-1.5, 7-1.5, 9-1.5, 10-3.5.

Switzerland 7.5-9 Spain

Score Spain: 1-2.5, 3-5.5, 6-6.5, 9-7.5
