The Coupe d’Or, the most remarkable tournament at the Deauville International Polo Club, in Normandy, Northwest France, is in full swing, with games played through Tuesday August 15 and Thursday August 17. The tournament forms part of the traditional Barriere Deauville Polo Cup, which features three tournaments: Coupe d’Or, Ladies Polo Cup y Coupe de Bronze. The calendar runs through August 9-27.

The Coupe d’Or is due to resume on the weekend, Saturday August 19 and Sunday August 20, with the following order of play:

Saturday August 19

5,30pm: Los Dragones Rouge vs. Talandracas

Sunday August 20

5,30pm: Mungo vs. Los Dragones Bleu

 

The final of the Coupe d’Or will be played on Sunday August 27.

 

COUPE DE BRONZE

Meanwhile, the Coupe de Bronze kicked off on Wednesday August 16. The competition sees seven teams up to 8 goals, compete. The first results are as follow:
