The Argentine Association of Polo (AAP) has revealed the complete calendar for the upcoming 2022 season in Argentina. The season will kick off with the San Jorge Open on September 3, while the Triple Crown, the most important polo championship in the world will begin on September 27 with the Tortugas Open. The Hurlingham Open follows on October 11, and the much anticipated final of the Argentine Open at Palermo will be played on December 2.
The season will include tournaments of all levels – high, medium, and low goal, tournaments for amateurs, ladies, and kids, as well as the Remonta & Veterinaria Cup, and the qualification tournament for the Argentine Open.
Season Highlights:
San Jorge Open, Duke of Edinburgh Trophy and Coronel Enrique Reyes Carrere Cup: September 3-10.
Jockey Club Open: September 13-24.
Tortugas Open, Emilio de Anchorena Cup: September 27 – October 8.
Hurlingham Open, Ayshire Cup: October 11-29.
Remonta & Veterinaria Cup, Qualification for the 129th Argentine Open: October 15-25.
Municipalidad de Pilar: Kicks off on October 13.
Provincia de Buenos Aires Cup: Kicks off on November 8.
Cámara de Diputados Cup: November 3-28.
Argentine Polo Open: November 1 – December 2.
VI Women’s Argentine Open: November 21 – December 2.
