The championship match of the 83rd. Tortugas Open, the second leg of the prestigious Argentine Triple Crown, will be played on Saturday October 28, at Tortugas Country Club. Reigning champions, La Natividad, and La Hache La Roca, will go head-to-head for the title of the tournament that preceeds the 130th. Argentine Polo Open, and sees eight teams up to 40 goals in participation.

The final will be a rematch of the semifinal of the last Hurlingham Open, that took place at Palermo, and saw the Ulloa family’s team victorious. Meanwhile, La Natividad will aim to retain the title they claimed last year.

But La Natividad not only will aim at their second Tortugas Open, the same as the Castagnola brothers. Facundo Pieres will play his 17th. consecutive final in Tortugas, having won previously ten of them. It is worth noting that Pablo MacDonough is tied with no less than Alberto Pedro Heguy, having won the Tortugas Open 11 times the two of them. Eventually, if he is able to lift the trophy on Saturday, it will be his 12th. title and would remain as the player who won this tournament more than anyone else.

With regards to La Hache La Roca, their aim is to claim their first title of the Triple Crown, after having lost the Hurlingham Open to La Dolfina Saudi. And unlike Polito Pieres and Hilario Ulloa, who have previously won the tournament, Guillermo Caset and Fran Elizalde will search for their first.

La Hache La Roca earned their spot in the final after defeating La Hache Cría & Polo, the second team of the Ulloa organisation, in semifinals; meanwhile, La Natividad overwhelmed La Dolfina Saudi, to claim their ticket to the decisive match.
