La Fe claimed a narrow 11-10 win over Dolfina 90210 and won the 55th. San Jorge for the Duke of Edinburgh Trophy, following the championship match that took place on Saturday August 7, on Palermo ground two. Therefore, Louis Devaileux’s lineup ran out the champions of the tournament that officially opens the season in Argentina.

 

The final was a very hard fought and balanced contest, which was not decided until the last chukka. La Fe scored three unanswered goals in that decisive episode, courtesy of the day’s top scorer, Jeta Castagnola; he sealed the deal with only 25 seconds left in regulation time, to secure La Fe the first title of the 2024 season in Argentina.
