La Hache and La Natividad are through the league A decider of the 131st. Argentina Polo Open Championship, following their wins against La Hache Cría & Polo and Indios Chapaleufu, respectively, in the games that took place on Saturday November 23. Both lineups are set to clash on Friday November 29, looking for the first spot in the final of world’s most significant tournament.

A family affair opened fire – the two teams of the Ulloa family’s organisation, La Hache and La Hache Cría & Polo, went head-to-head in the Triple Crown once again. It was a balanced contest between the two of them, but at the end of the day, La Hache claimed a 15-10 win, and took a step forward to the final.

Up next came a much anticipated game, La Natividad vs Indios Chapaleufu, with the latter in high moods after their great victory against La Hache, last week; meanwhile, the current reigning champions were still unbeaten. However, Indios Chapaleufu were clever enough to put enough pressure to such a tough contender, with the match very close until the ghird chukka. La Natividad managed to extend their gap in the fourth chukka, but Indios Chapaleufu bounced back and managed to be on their rival’s tail by the end of the sixth chukka. But La Natividad were more solid and accurate, and although the Chapaleufu boys, did their best, it was La Natividad who won 15-10, and will play against La Hache for a place in the champioship match.

The 131st. Argentine Polo Open Championship will continue on Sunday November 24, with the following order of play:

2pm: Ellerstina vs Cría La Dolfina

5pm: La Dolfina vs La Ensenada

The final of the 131st. Argentine Polo Open Championship is due on Saturday December 7.
