Throughout October, Kings Polo Club, located just minutes away from the Egyptian capital of Cairo, hosted a series of attractive tournaments. Among the professional players that partook in the various competitions was Eduardo Menendez, who has formed part of the project from day one.
Speaking to Pololine, the Argentine player, shared:
“I feel very grateful. There are not many chances in your life for this to happen. What Mohamed Elsewedy did here is out of this world.”
“We always chose the best team that we could: We had Alejandro Battro in the fields, we had Rick Balzano and his studio for all the facilities, the stables and the apartments, and then we have a staff of people with my brother Frankie, Marcelo Pascual – there are many of us here.”
“Mo had this amazing place that he bought, but when we arrived for the first time it was all sand. And today we have 130, 140 horses on site, 22 grooms, 10 professionals, Pololine coming here, it is amazing for us.”
“The future this place has is the best part of it all.”
“Next year, we are organising the African Championship, and we also want to see if we can put a team together in the World Championship, and go forward.”
