And it’s a wrap for the Qualification Tournament! La Zeta Kazak and La Aguada secured the two spots to play the upcoming 131st. Argentine Polo Open, following the last matchdate that took place at the Argentine Association of Polo Headquarters, in Pilar, on Monday October 21.

 

With regards to League A, La Zeta Kazak and La Matera clashed for the first ticket to the world’s most important polo tournament. Both teams played a very tight contest, until the last chukka, when La Zeta Kazak took off. In the last chukka, La Zeta Kazak managed to widen their advantage, long enough to earn a 12-9 win and the first of the two remaining spots to play at Palermo.

 

League B was a bit more complicated. La Irenita Clinova beat La Irenita II, which obliged La Dolfina Valiente to win by three goals or more. The Cañuelas-based foursome dominated most of the match, and they even managed to claim a five goal gap. But La Aguada bounced back and tied the game in the last minutes of the game. And Although La Dolfina Valiente won 14-13, La Aguada was already in Palermo.
