The Polo Rider Cup has acquired intercontinental status following confirmation from Las Brisas Polo Club and Empire Polo Club, both from the United States, that they will partake in the championship. This means that the competition is no longer the first European club competition, but the first ever intercontinental club tournament.

The Polo Rider Cup, scheduled to be played from June 10-20 at Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, located just half an hour from Paris, will be a truly unmissable event. The tournament, organised by GAME Polo, is supported by the FIP (Federation of International Polo).

Las Brisas Polo Club, set in Chicago, and Empire Polo Club, located in the Coachella Valley, will join Chantilly Polo Club (France), Hamburger Polo Club (Germany), Dos Lunas Polo Club (Spain), Moscow Polo Club (Russia), Evviva Polo St. Moritz (Switzerland), and Düsseldorf Polo Club Germany) in the championship. More teams might also join the competition in the upcoming weeks.
