First of all, my gratitude to the Santa Maria de Lobos Polo Club for giving me the opportunity and trusting me as an international polo instructor.
I consider this a great international project in which I will participate, focusing on teaching this magnificent sport from its beginnings, such as horsemanship, then moving on to striking and understanding the game. For each of these stages, both theoretical and practical parts will be supported by the latest technology: videos and recordings with series analysis.
We will work day by day during the months of November and half of December. Like other sports, polo requires teaching its technique in such a way that its practice becomes easier to perform. Indeed, it is the details that will favor the development of this technique.
Great emphasis will be placed on each participant, according to their level, in such a way as to achieve correct learning in a timely manner and thus eliminate errors embedded in muscle memory. This will allow for an easy,efficient, and enjoyable course experience.
Santa Maria de Lobos offers its facilities with great perfection and very good taste: the Club House, top-level polo fields (5), hotel, tennis court, as well as recreation and leisure areas like its lagoon and spaces for horseback riding, fishing, and bird watching. Additionally, it has a suitable set of horses for each participant’s level, all under the care of highly experienced grooms.
Our goal will always be that people who decide to participate in the polo program achieve improvement every hour and every day.
According to the requested times, weekly groups will be formed, considering different levels, thus participating in both individual classes and practice games. Thus, time will be distributed between learning polo, enjoying the game, excellent accommodation, lunches and dinners in the Argentine style, and trips to Palermo to witness the Argentine Open, unique in the world.
