Bin Drai qualify for semis

Bin Drai is the first team to secure a spot in the semifinals of the McLaren Silver Cup, following their 7-5 win over Mahra in today's single match at Al Habtoor Polo Club and Resort, Dubai. Saeed Bin Drai's foursome claimed their second consecutive win and remain unbeaten.

Bin Drai played an impressive first half, taking a considerable 7-3 lead in the third chukka (Mahra's Rashid Al Habtoor was replaced by Tariq Al Habtoor in the third). 
Mahra did their best to try to make a comeback in the fourth, closing the gap down to two (5-7). Mahra continued to put pressure on their opponents in the last but were unable to score. Bin Drai emerged as the winners and qualified for the semifinals of the tournament.
Bin Drai's Raúl Laplacette was named MVP, and was top scorer along with Fran Elizalde and Mahra's Juan Ruiz Guiñazu. They all scoerd three goals apiece.
