The first UK Sunset Polo at Cowdray House, took place last wednesday in aid of Brooke and local Chestnut Tree House. Organized by Broke USA ambassador, Nic Roldan, the event followed the two previous editions in Florida and was a complete success; activities for youngs and adults, polo exhibitions and the live streaming by PoloLine.Tv & PoloCam.

After Sammi Vaughn's musical show, the renowned Monty Roberts, also called "the horse whisperer”, captivated the audience with his talent for horses and their emotions. Also Tammy Greaves offered an excellent demonstration of Western Riding.

Already on the polo field, the following two teams faced in a 4 chukkers match:
GSA: Nic Roldan, Henry Porter, Ruffino Merlos, Clare Milford Haven
Engel & Volkers: Agustin Merlos, Nick Kinder, Martin Valent, Lulu Hutley.

GSA claimed the win by 6-5. Young Rufino Merlos was named MVP and top scorer.

The cherry of the pie, was the expected "celebrity chukker”, with different athletes and olympic medalists, together with several british celebrities related to equestrian activities.

- Ainsley Polo: Mattie Batchelor ("Wocket Woy”), Leighton Aspell, Victoria Pendleton, Martin Valent.
- Lickfold Inn: Scott Brash, Marc Golstein, William Fox Pitt, Nic Roldan.

Host and top player Nic Roldan reaffirmed his commitment with Brooke, foundation that looks after the well-being of horses, donkeys and mules; and the local Chestnut Tree House, for youngs from 0 to 19 years of age.
