Ellerstina & La Dolfina to play Palermo final for a fourth consecutive year

Sunday, November 26, was the most intense and exciting day of the 2017 Argentine Open Championship. Two matches exceeded expectations and shook the nine thousand people that attended Palermo.

First up on ground two, a clash between Cria Yatay and La Dolfina Polo Ranch, the latter who needed a win to secure their place in 2018 Triple Crown. Cria Yatay lead for most of the match, but in the end it went into extra chukka. Diego Cavanagh scored his tenth goal of the day to seal the win and La Dolfina Polo Ranch's qualification for next year's Argentine Open.

Next up, one of the most awaited matches of the Championship: Ellerstina took on Alegria to decide Zone B. Ellerstina was strong in the attack, winnning the throw-ins and keeping Alegria away from the goal. The pink team only scored through penalties, taken by Sapo Caset. Ellerstina made faults that benefited their opponents, but they stayed determined.

The last three chukkas were a true spectacle. Goal by goal, minute by minute, until the last second. Alegría managed to lead the game until Polito Pieres showed up with some great plays to take Ellerstina to a new victory. The team earned a spot in the final for fourth consecutive year.
