The final of the 50th San Jorge Open, took place in a packed Palermo. Valiente / La Dolfina faced La Natividad on field 1, and Bartlito Castagnola played against his godfather (Adolfito Cambiaso) for the very first time.

Despite a balanced first chukker, Valiente / La Dolfina showed its great superiority during the entire game, playing with the 75% of the US Open winning´s line-up (Cambiaso, Jornayvaz y Cavanagh). With a 16-8 final score, the partnership Cambiaso-Jornayvaz, achieved a new title.

Several new rules were tested for the first time, with the clear intention of analyzing if some of them could be applied in the upcoming Triple Crown. The players showed a positive attitude towards most of the rules, for example, no more throw-in when the ball goes over the boards; but on the other side, a 6 min. chukker seems to be short.

MVP: Adolfo Cambiaso.
BPP AACCP: Dolfina Polémica (Open Iluminado x Pampita). Played by Adolfo Cambiaso / Breeder and owner: La Dolfina.
