Great start to the 123° Open de Paris with a total of 3 matches which took place between Sainte Mesme and Bagatelle. Sainte Mesme and debutants Santa Clara opened the matchday at Sainte Mesme in the morning. The Strom Family’s Team had a great performance and took a great opening win by 9-4.
Red Falcon and Kazak-Outsiders opened fire at Bagatelle. Ramiro Zavaleta and Clément Delfosse were very active during the first chukker where they both score. But Patrick Paillol started to control the game and gave the advantage to his team. In spite of this, the game was tied in 7 at the end of the fifth chukker. But a penalty scored by Patrick Paillol gave Kazak-Outsiders an 8-7 win.
Costa Rica and La Concepcion closed the opening matchday; is worth remember that these teams played last year’s final. But La Concepcion was more effective in the key moments and scored a 7-6 win.
The 123° Open de Paris will continue on Sunday with the following order of play:
11am, at Sainte Mesme: Sainte Mesme vs Red Falcon
2pm: Santa Clara vs Costa Rica
3:30pm: La Concepcion vs Kazak-Outsiders
