Wolves and Mahra are through the final of the Bentley Cup, following the semifinal games at Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club. Wolves beat UAE 10-8, while Mahra took a 8-7 win over Desert Palm, in extra chukker.
In the first match of the day, Wolves and UAE played a very fast match, with several great plays. Wolves had three fantastic chukkas, which allowed them to take a wide 6-2 lead by half time. However, UAE made a comeback in the fourth when they closed the gap to just one goal.
Wolves got back in the game in the last period. Three unanswered goals gave them the victory and a spot in the Bentley Cup final.

Up next, Mahra and Desert Palm played a very tight semifinal and both teams fought hard to claim the win. In the fifth chukka, Martin Valent was hit by a ball on the nose, and was replaced by Martin Gándara.
It was 7-all in the fifth, and the match was forced into OT. That was when Isidro Strada picked the ball up and scored following a fantastic play. The goal sealed Mahra's 8-7 win.

INAUGURATION OF THE ST. REGIS HOTEL
Following Saturday's games, a special cocktail was held to inaugurate the St. Regis Hotel, located within Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club.
Mohammed Al Habtoor (Julius Baer Team by Habtoor Polo), Rashid Al Habtoor (Mahra), Amr Zedan (Zedan) and Faris Al Yabhouni (Abu Dhabi) were among those in attendance, alongside media, players and special guests. The hotel greeted its first guests on Sunday.
