Pitirri el Palenque wins 12-goal Copa de Plata
Lechuza kicks off Copa de Oro with two victories

The finals of the 12-goal Copa de Plata took place on Saturday with a face-off between Casa de Campo and Pitirri-El Palenque. The game kicked off well for Casa de Campo, who were able to hold their advantage for three consecutive chukkas. But Pitirri El Palenque, the favorite team of the category, managed to tie the game in the fourth chukka; they began to dominate the game and managed a 6-4 lead by the fifth. Pitirri-El Palenque continued to play well and were able to claim the Copa de Plata title after a 9-4 win.
The 22-goal Copa de Oro, the third leg of the Polo Challenge, kicked off on On Thursday, March 2. As usual, Lechuza Caracas started off with a win, defeating Casa de Campo 9 goals to 6.
That Saturday, the second match of the 22-goal Copa de Oro was held: this time Lechuza Caracas faced Cinque Terre. Apart from the first chukka, the Venezuelan titans completely dominated the game. At the end of the third, they were already four goals up (7-3). While Cinque Terre did a great job, Lechuza were still able to claim the 10-8 win.
Polo Challenge continues on Wednesday, February 8 with HB's debut and patron Ludovic Pailloncy's first game on the Island.
