Charity Match in Dominican Republic
In aid of Fundación MIR & Hogar del Niño

On Saturday, February 11th, a charity polo match was held at Casa de Campo in aid of Fundación MIR and Hogar del Niño, two local charities that contribute to the development of children in the Dominican Republic.
Lechuza Caracas - formed of patron Victor Vargas, Canada’s best player Fred Mannix, and two La Dolfina record breakers, Juan Martín Nero and David Stirling - took on Casa de Campo - with Julian Mannix, 8-goaler Pancho Bensadon, and the Toccalino brothers.
It was a friendly match, where the players wowed the audience with their remarkable skills; a true example of chivalry and sportsmanship, and the game finished tied at 6-all. The day ended with an after polo party, with a show by local band Los Ilegales.
